CoralLan was founded in New Taipei with a straightforward idea: that professional makeup artistry should be accessible where you actually are — not somewhere you have to travel to. The studio was built around a deep appreciation for the moments in life that deserve careful attention: a corporate portrait that represents your professional self, a brunch with people you love, a ceremony that marks renewed commitment.
Our founder began in portrait photography, which shaped an understanding of how makeup interacts with light, camera, and the particular atmosphere of each occasion. Over time, that studio-based background evolved into a mobile practice — bringing the same standards out into homes, hotel rooms, and private venues across Greater Taipei.
Today, CoralLan works with clients who value thoughtful service and a considered approach. We take our time. We ask questions. We adapt to your skin, your preferences, and the occasion — not the other way around.

The home visit model was chosen deliberately. Arriving at a client's own space removes the unfamiliarity of a salon environment and allows for a calmer, more communicative session. Clients tend to open up more readily about their preferences when they're in surroundings they know — which leads to better outcomes for the work itself.
New Taipei and Taipei City offer a remarkable range of occasions and client needs. From Banqiao and Zhonghe to Xinyi and Daan, we've worked in homes, serviced apartments, hotel suites, and private event spaces. Familiarity with the local context — the weather's effect on skin through Taiwan's seasons, the particular lighting conditions of local venues — informs every session we take on.
